  • I've been using iTunes almost daily since version 3, and haven't had any of the problems you're experiencing (though I've only bought 1 or 2 songs with booklets, so maybe I've dodged that one).

  • I work at a small IT company that's made up of 10 men and 6 women. All but one of the women is in some kind of management/client relations role (the other is a graphic artist), while all 10 of the men are either programmers or sysadmins (a few do management on the side, but mostly coding).

  • Every version of OS X has been a speed improvement. Yes. But OS X is way slower than OS 9, and OS 9 was shitloads slower than OS 7. My old powerbook with 12MB of ram, running Mac OS 7.5.5, was faster at some things than my current mac running OS X.

  • It's simple: - Vista does more stuff than XP. - "Does more stuff" means the computer has to do more work to achieve the same result. Modern hardware will make up for the performance hit.

  • I think the whole wheelchair paragraph is an example of the sensationalism that has flooded journalism today. They imply that the publisher is "lying" about it's attitude to people in wheelchairs, but back it up with flakey evidence.

  • It's not how most people use it, but voting is meant to say "this is a good quality article", and not "I love hitler!". Sadly I'm pretty sure the second is the more common use of the feature.
